Weekly Update

     I'm really enjoying this challenge! It has "forced" me to pick up my camera again, I hadn't realized how much I had missed it. I look at it every day. Some days it's a glance, a quick check-in to make sure it's still in its spot on my dresser. Other days it's a wistful longing, wishing I could pack a lunch, a spare battery, maybe a few blank SD cards, and just see where my camera leads me. At the end of this year, I'm sure I will have improved my knowledge and hopefully my ability -- a win-win!
​     My plan is to post each Saturday, so here are days three through six.

Day 3: Snack

Day 4: Favorite Place

The struggle is real, people!!

This was a tough one. Truthfully, my favorite place is anywhere I can be with my family. The next best place is anywhere I can be creative. Since my craft room is embarrassingly messy at the moment, this is the table where I paint. 

Day 5: Vintage

I threatened to just take a selfie for this one. Ha! This is an aluminum wall tree that my mother bought many, many years ago. The box still has the tag on it -- she paid a whopping $1.25. This tree and a blue bottle brush tree, which my mother also bought, are essential to Christmas for me. Once they are in place, everything else just feels right.  

Day 6: Music

I don't play guitar -- or any other instrument -- though I have always loved music. This guitar is special to me because both my daughter and husband have used it to fill our home with music.
